Active 8 - School Holiday Programme

'Working in partnership to provide high quality holiday programmes, giving young people a stepping stone into their chosen sport or activity.`

Sports Development works closely with community partners and other departments in the Council, to co-ordinate a programme of activities in the school summer holidays.

The aims of these activities are to meet the identified needs of a wide age range, to be fully inclusive for all children and to lead to long-term participation e.g. by offering opportunities to join local sports clubs.

If you have a specific enquiry about Holiday Programmes, please complete our Sports Development General Enquiry Form.
